ANALOG LIFE DOES
TASTE RICHER
At the retreat, everyday life is simple and calm. When the phone is put away and the days unfold without a constant stream of stimulation, small things begin to feel meaningful again.
The steady rhythm of a knife on the cutting board.
The scent of herbs on your fingers.
A warm oven. The colors of a meal in natural light.
What is simple begins to feel rich and satisfying
Utula’s plant-based food is nourishing and balanced. It keeps blood sugar stable and energy steady.
Many people notice within just a few days how good it feels to eat regularly — without constant decision-making on what to eat.
You don’t need to plan.
You don’t need to organize.
You don’t need to know how to cook beforehand.
The body relaxes when it knows when food is coming and what it will be.
A Clear Structure Creates a Restful Mind
Everything has been thought through in advance so that you don’t have to think about it.
The structure gives a sense of ease:
-
A ready-made weekly menu
-
Clear and simple recipes
-
Quick preparation
-
A shared rhythm for dinners
Before the retreat, we have already planned the week’s menu.
The kitchen is both functional and beautiful.
Ingredients and tools are easy to find. The recipes are simple — everyone can succeed and experience the joy of cooking.
We are not aiming for perfection, but for ease and practicing mindfulness in everyday tasks .
Cooking is light and quick:
-
Breakfast takes about 5 minutes (usually some yogurt/porridge bowl)
-
Lunch about 15 minutes (usually a filling salad or omelette)
-
Dinner about 30 minutes (usually a simple oven dish with just a few steps follow)
A little everyday activity that offers a grounding break from internal processing.
Preparing food doesn’t drain your energy — it restores it.
On Mondays we organize before going into silence
On Monday we gather briefly together and calmly decide how the dinners for the week will be organized.
We agree:
-
Whether dinners are prepared together or by taking turns
-
Who would like to cook on which day and what
-
Any special wishes or dietary considerations
Everyone's preferences are considered, an decisions made together.
No complicated arrangements. No unnecessary fuss.
After that, the week can unfold peacefully in its own rhythm.
Loved Flavors, Requested Recipes —
Now Yours to Take Home
Utula’s food has always been praised for being exceptionally delicious.
Over the years people have asked for the recipes again and again — and we have often been encouraged to collect them into a book. Now we finally have.
After the retreat, you will receive Utula’s recipe book as a PDF, containing the entire weekly menu.
It is simple, everyday plant-based cooking — quick to prepare, nourishing, flavorful, and supportive of stable energy levels.
You can continue the same rhythm at home — without needing to start from scratch.
A Cooking Rhythm That Stays in Your Body Memory
During the retreat you will naturally learn many things without effort:
-
how to eat in a steady daily rhythm
-
how to prepare simple and delicious plant-based meals
-
confidence to try new flavors in a safe environment
-
how to do everyday tasks with presence instead of pressure
-
how to continue the same calm rhythm at home with the recipe book
Perfection is not the goal.
What matters is the experience that this is easy, possible, and safe.
At Utula, food grounds you.
It brings a gentle structure to the day. And reminds you that simplicity is enough.
