NATURE CALLS TO REST
We have two types of accommodation for max. two people; 2 rooms in the lakeside twin cottage and 3 forest bungalows. Both room types have the same level of equipment, but only in the detached bungalows is it possible to combine the beds into a double bed.
We only take a max of 10 visitors at a time which keeps our retreat intimate and ensures that the environment is peaceful and that there is enough space for everyone. On average we have 3-6 visitors at a time.
Note: There are no private toilets or bathrooms in any of the accommodations. 3 outdoor eco-toilets and wash-area is at your disposal 24/7.
FOREST BUNGALOWS - 1 - 4 WEEK RETREATS OR LONGER RESIDENTIAL STAYS
This is our private accommodation type - be it single or double. These cabins are simple and beautiful sleeping places equipped with double glass doors built in 2021. If you want, you can open the double doors and let the lake breeze blow directly into the room. The private mini terrace is a nice place to eat or read a book. In addition to a comfortable bed, each guest has a chest of drawers for their belongings, a reading lamp, a chair, a wall hanger and a mirror.

You can book this room as a private bungalow for one or two people (let us know if you want your room furnished with double bed on your reservation).
TWIN COTTAGE - 1 WEEK RETREATS ONLY
This is our shared accommodation type - females only and they are silent spaces (no conversing) to ensure privacy and resting space for everyone. Twin cottage is a two room round log building built in the 1960s, with cosy and beautiful accommodation. The rooms are flooded with light from the large windows, from which the view opens directly to Saimaa.
In addition to a comfortable bed, each guest is provided with a chest of drawers for their belongings, a reading lamp and a wall hanger.

NOTE! This room cannot be furnished with a double bed. If you are a sensitive sleeper we recommend to bring ear plugs.
Mental well-being is important to us - Nature lulls you to rest and sleep
Sleep is an important part of mental well-being. Prolonged sleep deprivation in particular can cause many health risks, and it adversely affects, for example, concentration and mood.
You can simply come to Utula Nature just to catch up on your sleep, if that is what you need. The silence and fresh air will lull you to a better sleep, and first thing in the morning you will see the breathtaking landscape of Saimaa. Open the cabin's double doors and breathe in the fresh air. You will also notice how digital fasting has a positive effect on sleep quality.
We only take a total of 10 customers to Utula Nature at a time, because we want to keep your retreat experience intimate and ensure a peaceful environment. At Utula Nature, everyone has enough space to be at peace, without social pressure.
