SILENT RETREAT - WHAT IS IT?

Utula Nature is a place that was created for a quiet retreat - beautiful landscapes, surrounding nature, sand under your toes and many spaces for relaxation give you the opportunity to strengthen and calm down. You can come to us just to stop and rest, or you can work independently on a topic that is important to you at the retreat.

 

The fixed elements  of the retreat are digital and speech fast, other content is completely optional. The retreat includes individual therapeutic discussion support and common sharing circles.​​The silence retreat is fully bilingual (English/Finnish).

 

There is no complete silence in the middle of nature, but you can hear the noise of Saimaa's waves, the birds singing and the hum of the trees, and the staff also use their voices to guide the activities and in their everyday work.

Choose a retreat duration of 4 days/3 nights (Thu-Sun) or 6 days/5 nights (Tue-Sun).

From Tuesday the 2nd or Thursday the 4th to Sunday the 7th of July 2024

From Tuesday the 13th or Thursday the 15th to  Sunday 18 August 2024

 

The retreat can accommodate max. 10 customers, min. 3 participants.

The starting point of the retreat is digital detox and speech fasting.

At the retreat we rest and we find a connection with ourselves in silence; 

you can sleep, eat, be in nature, take a sauna and reflect or reflect on your life independently or with therapeutic support

.

We descend into silence and end the silence together.

Accommodation & food

  • accommodation in a silent rooms for 1 or 2 people (sheets and towels included)

  •  wood-heated traditional woodlit sauna in the evening

  • porridge / fruit breakfast + 2 daily earthy and delicious vegetarian meals (brunch and dinner) 

  • in addition, fruit, nuts and tea/coffee (available from morning to evening)

 

Activities & therapeutic content

  • facilitated speech and digital fasting

  • personal therapeutic talks

  • guided sound healing journeys

  • guided silent nature activities

  • sharing circles

  • independent nature activities: nature walk, snorkeling, rowing, swimming, cycling, private practice in the yoga tent
