WHAT IS A RESTORATIVE RETREAT?

​

Utula Nature is a created for deep recovery and restoration - beautiful landscapes, surrounding nature, sand under your toes and many spaces intended for relaxation give you the opportunity to strengthen and calm down.

 

You can come to us just to stop and rest, or you can work on a topic that is important to you at the retreat independently or with support. ​

 

Essential elements of our restorative retreat:

​

  • You can stay with us anywhere from a week to four weeks (1-4 weeks) (or even longer if separately agreed)

  • The day of arrival and departure is Monday for everyone

  • Joint digital fast during the first week of the visit (Mon-Sun)

  • Self-orientation and the freedom to create a stay that supports your current needs - everyone is welcome with their own needs and from wherever they are 

  • Silent periods of reflection every day, when we are in shared silence from waking up to the beginning of lunch, give space to our own inner voice.

  • Opportunity for community and connection in sharing circles and joint activities

  • Possibility of an individual wellness program during the retreat (body awareness, digital well-being and mindfulness)

  • Possibility of individual treatments and individual therapy sessions​

 Restorative retreat includes::

6-day digital fast (Mon-Sun)

 

Silent introspective periods; daily 21.00-12:00 and Sundays until dinner​

 

Round-trip transport from Imatra Matka station to Utula Nature (Mon-Mon) ​

​

Accommodation with sheets and towels ​

 

Delicious vegetarian food (Breakfast, lunch and dinner) ​

​

Wood-heated beach sauna (4 times/week)

​

Individual needs assessment discussion on the first day ​

​

Guided activities: E.g. Nature walk, Yin yoga, sound tour, excursion, etc. (min. 2 times/week, depending on the wishes of the guests and the size of the group) ​

​

Sharing circles (incl. Introduction and reflection on some topic related to restoration) ​

​

Joint silent morning meditation in nature ​

​

Sunday dinner together (optional) ​

​

Independent activities: E.g. Stand-up paddling, rowing trips, walking, cycling
