WHAT IS A RESTORATIVE RETREAT?

​

Utula Nature is a created for deep restoration and introspection - beautiful landscapes, surrounding nature, sand under your toes and many spaces intended for reaping the wellness benefits of nature, give you the opportunity to  rejuvenate from life stressors and find inspiration again.

​

We offer a space where you can slowly return into a state of calm presence with the support of the nature, accepting community and space to just be and follow your own inner rhythm. If you wish, you can spice up the days with your own independent explorations in the nature, self-guided therapeutical work and 1-to-1 treatments.

Essential information about our restorative digital detox nature retreat:

​

  • Orient yourself well in advance to your retreat by completing the self-assessment of needs that you will receive when you confirm your reservation for the retreat and, if you wish, by participating in the Orientation for Your Retreat webinar 1-4 weeks before your arrival.

  • You can stay with us for anywhere from a week to four weeks (1-4 weeks or even longer, as agreed).

  • Cultivating silence and a stimulus fasting that supports individual reflection enables you to turn towards yourself - we come to the retreat primarily to face ourselves, our feelings, thoughts and physicality. The exception to silence is Mondays, when it is the day of departure and arrival. You can also light an evening campfire on the beach in the evenings as an invitation to gather around the fire for connection. We are on this journey alone, together.

  • The day of arrival and departure is Monday for everyone, regardless of how many weeks your retreat lasts.

  • A shared digital fast for the first week of the visit (Mon-Mon), after which you can decide whether you want to continue the digital fast or get used to new digital wellbeing routines during the retreat.

  • Self-orientation and freedom to create your stay to support your current needs - everyone is welcome with their own needs and from where they are.

  • Possibility of self-guided activities and excursions in the surrounding area.

  • Possibility to work on important life themes with the support and guidance of the rich therapeutic retreat manual.

  • Possibility to book and enjoy versatile individual wellness treatments (read more about additional services)

  • Utula Nature's community support before and after the retreat (year-round community webinars) as a maintainer of continuous learning, motivation and inspiration.

  • Possibility to therapeutic individual support before and after the retreat.

 Restorative retreat includes:

  • Self-self needs assessment and Orientation to the Retreat webinar before the retreat.

  • Transportation from/to Imatra train station (once a day on Mondays)

  • Cultivating communal silence and speaking fast

  • Digital fast (7 days, Mon-Mon) Healthy, delicious and regular meals (3 per day)

  • Free use of diverse common spaces; beach, forest library, "forest pound", yoga tent, sun terrace, lounge with panorama windows, sauna

  • Various self-help activities and equipment; SUP -boarding, cycling, rowing, walking, canoeing, island trips, self-help yoga, night in a hammock, etc.

  • Guided therapeutic retreat manual, inspiration, self-help exercises and processes.

  • Opportunity to share meaningful conversations with like-minded people around a campfire.

  • Opportunity to continue the process supported by community webinars.
